Looking for a relaxing and creative way to spend your evening? Join us for a fun, hands-on Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop! This is a rare chance to take part in the popular, sell-out workshop that has already inspired makers across Broome, and beyond.
Led by a passionate and experienced instructor with over 8 years of teaching expertise, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the beautiful craft of macramé. Learn how to measure, knot, and design your very own stylish plant hanger—even if you’ve never tried macramé before!
No experience? No problem!
This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone looking to try something new in a welcoming and social setting.
- When: Friday 19th September 2025 at 5pm - approximately 7:30pm
- Where: The Red Shed, the Old Fire Station, 35 Clarendon Street, Derby WA 6728
- What you will get: 2.5h - 3h of fun, creativity, mingling, refreshments including delicious grazing platter and soft drinks. BYO welcome!
- What is included: All materials needed to create your very own plant hanger, including 100% recycled macrame cotton cords in your choice of colour, choice of different mounting rings and various beads plus step by step instruction booklet to take home
- Do you need to know or bring anything: The answer is no! This is a beginner workshop that is suitable for anyone aged 12 years and over and no previous macrame knowledge is needed. A happy can do attitude is all I'm asking for
